Dr. Cable

         “Beauty is power; a smile is it’s sword.”(John Ray) said  rusty John Ray a long time ago. What a glorious way to express the importance of beauty. This is what we believe in our society, we make people beautiful and handsome and send them where the other Pretties are to give them a happy life full of fun. Even though there are some rebel groups who want to stay as Uglies and live in a bad habitat.

         I, Dr. Cable, serve my community as the head of the special circumstances. I personally operate on people to make them one of the Pretties. As the special circumstances, we only choose people with good educational backgrounds, so everyone in the community can trust our prestigious team – doctors who will operate on them – without doubt. As I once told someone, “This city is a paradise, Tally. It feeds you, keeps you safe, it makes you pretty.”(Westerfield 103).

         The rebel groups that I mentioned are the Uglies who prefer to live in a place called the Smoke and who don’t want to become Pretty. Those people do not appreciate our hard work to keep them safe and happy. I wonder how long they will survive without our protection, let alone resisting us. They infect the minds of our adolescents and they convice them to stay ugly and live a miserable life.

         The only way for everyone to be happy in our society is by accepting our generosity and our protection. Everyone should appreciate and be greatful to us for our hard work.
